The dogs listed on this page have completed professional training through John K9. All are on- and off-leash trained, e-collar conditioned, and have a solid foundation in obedience, handling, and real-world reliability. Some dogs may also have specialized training such as personal protection work, which will be clearly noted in their individual bios.
Each of these dogs is looking for the right home, and we take that part seriously. Whether you’re searching for a loyal companion, a working partner, or a family protector, our goal is to help match every dog with a home that fits their temperament, training, and lifestyle.

Finn

DJ
DJ is a young Labrador with a whole lot of potential and exactly zero bad habits baked in. She’s a clean slate, which means you get to build your dream dog from the ground up. Whether you’re looking for a sweet family companion or a future sport superstar, DJ is ready to be shaped into whatever you need.
She’s bright, curious, and eager to learn, the kind of pup who will happily trade chaos for training if you give her direction and snacks. If you want a dog you can grow with, DJ is your girl.
Diesel
Diesel is an adult German Shepherd who is fully trained on and off leash and actively looking for both a new home and a job. He’s smart, driven, and versatile enough to fit into a bunch of lifestyles as long as he gets what he actually needs: movement, structure, and purpose.
He can absolutely be your active adventure dog, but he also comes with that premium “scary dog privilege” that makes sketchy situations way less sketchy. Diesel loves to work, whether that’s training, dog sports, hiking, or just being your very serious shadow.

Kai
Kai is a young adult Doberman on the hunt for a new home and a real job. He’s fully trained on and off leash and takes his work very seriously, even if he occasionally forgets he’s not in a Marvel movie.
He’s high-energy, smart, and driven, which means he thrives with daily structure, exercise, and something productive to focus on. Kai isn’t a couch potato. He’s a partner. The kind of dog who wants to train, go places, learn things, and be included in your life.
If you’re looking for a loyal, intense, ride-or-die kind of dog who’s ready to work and bond hard with his person, Kai is absolutely that guy.
Gunner
Gunner is a happy, confident lovebug looking for his forever home! He is off-leash and e-collar trained, crate and house trained, and excellent for grooming, including baths and the force dryer.
Gunner is dog-friendly and does best with a female or neutered male dog. He loves people of all sizes and ages, has shown no behavioral concerns, and truly enjoys training - he's both toy and food motivated and eager to learn.
Affectionate, fun, and easy to live with, Gunner would make a wonderful companion for a home ready to continue his training and give him the love he deserves.
Gunner will go home with lifetime training follow ups.
A meet and greet is required to adopt Gunner.
Daisy
Daisy is a young adult Pit Bull mix who has been hanging out with us at John K9 for a few months, and she has officially decided that humans are her favorite species. She lives for attention, affection, and being right next to her people.
She’s not dog aggressive, but she would do best as an only dog or with a super calm, low-key canine roommate. Daisy would much rather spend her time going on long sniffy walks, exploring the world at her pace, or curling up on the couch for quality cuddle sessions.
Daisy is sweet, gentle, and endlessly loving. She’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and just wants to be someone’s whole world. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will happily trade zoomies for couch time, Daisy might be your girl.
